Frequently Asked Questions: Consulting
What exactly does "nature-informed" consulting look like?
It depends on your goals, but it essentially means applying the principles of ecology and nervous system regulation to professional environments. This can range from helping a school design a "sensory garden" for student regulation to advising a corporate team on how to combat burnout through biophilic (nature-integrated) workflows.
Who do you typically consult for?
I work with a variety of partners in southern New Hampshire, including:
Clinicians & Practices: Seeking to integrate "Walk-and-Talk" or ecotherapy into their own business models.
Schools & Educators: Developing nature-based wellness programs for students and staff.
Organizations: Looking for workshops on sustainable leadership and preventing "compassion fatigue" through a natural lens.
Is this the same as a staff retreat?
While I can facilitate restorative staff experiences, my consulting is focused on systems. We aren't just taking a day trip to the woods; we are looking at how to build the "soil" of your organization so that your team feels grounded and resilient year-round.
Can consulting be done remotely?
Absolutely. While I love working on-site in New Hampshire to see your specific "ecosystem" in person, strategy and program development can be handled effectively via video sessions.
How do we get started?
Consulting projects are highly tailored. We’ll start with a discovery call to discuss your specific needs, the scope of the project, and how my nature-oriented framework can help you meet your objectives.
