Our Approach

Therapy services provided by Juniper Holistic Mental Health, PLLC are rooted in the idea that all human beings are fundamentally connected with the natural world. This means that we are affected by its rhythms and changes, as well as its power to help us heal and refocus. When we incorporate outdoor environments and natural living practices into mental health care, we find new ways to become more calm, present, and reconnected with ourselves and each other.

Juniper Holistic Mental Health, PLLC is owned and operated by Jenny Everett King, MSW, MSc, LICSW. Jenny is a clinical social worker, doctoral student, and ecotherapy practitioner. With a background in community-based practice, yoga, and herbalism, Jenny's approach to treatment is relaxed and personable. Her clinical training has included Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Trauma Empowerment Self-Defense (TESD). Jenny has worked extensively with marginalized populations at home and abroad, including survivors of sexual exploitation.

When she is not working or studying, Jenny enjoys foraging and wildcrafting, hiking the New Hampshire mountains, training in mixed martial arts, and spending time with her family.
